DESCRIPTION
LCD-CESP's newest LED luminaire is our most versatile high wattage unit yet. The HQ series is a combination floodlight and high bay that can be utilized to satisfy
multiple application requirements. The HQ is equipped with a state of the art LED light engine that offers optional 0-10V dimming with excellent efficacies and lumen
outputs. The superior thermal management maximizes the reliability and longevity that SSL systems can provide. The unique mounting configurations allows the HQ to be used as a high-power floodlight when mounted using an adjustable steel yoke, or as a high bay when hung from the steel hook. With efficacies as high as 120-145 LPW and a CRI of ≥70, the performance of the HQ allows it to meet or exceed the efficacy requirements for various rebate programs across the country. technology combined with application versatility and design consistency makes our new HQ an extremely versatile high wattage luminaire.
SPECIFICATIONS
Construction:The HQ is a precision designed luminaire that takes advantage of the best properties of three main materials: the mounting bracketry is constructed of
high strength steel; the heat dissipation fins are constructed of lightweight aluminum; and the LED board itself is mounted directly to an array of hollow copper tubes that terminate throughout the aluminum heat sink assembly for maximum heat dissipation.The HQ has a sealed reflector with an e-PTFE breathable membrane filter that
allows the enclosure to expand and contract without drawing in moisture or dust that would depreciate the lumen output of the luminaire. The inner reflector is mirrored
aluminum and is available in 25°, 60°, or 90° beam angles. The unique construction of the HQ maximizes heat dissipation and therefore increases the longevity,reliability, and performance.
Optics:
Our HQ series luminaire delivers exceptional light quality, with correlated color temperatures available from 3000K to 6000K and a CRI of ≥70. The HQ LED light
engines are controlled with precision, specular reflectors to distribute light in 25°, 60°, or 90° beam angles that can produce the ideal distribution for either floodlighting or
high bays that maximizes fixture spacing while still delivering light where it is needed in the most efficient way possible. Producing up to 50000 delivered lumens, the
HQ has a conservative L70 of 50,000 hours.
Electrical:
The HQ is powered by a constant current, high efficiency Class 2 LED driver, Meanwell brand with active power factor correction (0.99 typical). The driver has an IP67 rating for all around protection against over-voltage, over-temperature, short circuit conditions, and lightning. The HQ driver has a standard voltage sensing input of 100 ~ 277VAC 50/60Hz. It has a Class A EMI rating, complies with U8750 safety regulations and with ANSI/IEEE C62.41 Class A Operation. The HQ is suitable for operation in -13°F to 122°F (-25°C to 50°C) ambient conditions.
Thermal Management:
Our LED module and driver are mounted directly to the purpose designed housing which functions as a dedicated, LCD-CESP logic thermal heat sink.The heat sinks are unique and has been sized to maximize the thermal dissipation of the luminaire. This configuration optimizes the heat removal for the LEDs and the driver, which makes possible the high efficacy, lumen output and longevity of the HQ.
Environmentally Friendly Design:
HQ luminaires consume very little energy and provide long life in comparison to traditional lamp technologies. The HQ-203 consumes only 200 watts, but the light output can be conservatively compared to a 700W HID luminaire of similar design. The HQ-503 can be compared to a 1500W HID luminaire. The HQ is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant and provides a significant reduction in KW load and carbon emissions.
Installation:
The HQ series luminaire features a bracketry design that can be easily mounted to any surface and is readily wired to a J-box. The floodlight brackets have 13 positive stops every 10° so it stays exactly where it is aimed. The high bay loop allows the H2-FHB to be mounted like a standard high bay.
Testing & Compliance:
The reliability and performance of the H2-FHB is evaluated in accordance with the parameters outlined and reported by LM-79 and LM-80 documents.Photometric data is tested to IESNA LM-79-08 standard by an independent testing laboratory. Lumen maintenance, or L70, a measure of long term reliability, is determined for the light source, which consists of the LED and PSB sub-assembly as installed in the luminaire, using LM-80 in-situ thermal and reliability data as provided by the LED manufacturer in accordance with DOE/EPA standards.
